Yum Moo Yoh (Spicy Pork Sausage Salad)


Moo Yoh is a Thai sausage. It’s made of pork. This salad we use only vegetables and pork sausage with spicy and sour sauce but you can add glass noodles as well. Then you have to add more lemon juice and fish sauce. Check it out, maybe you will it more than my way.




 

Ingredients:

1 pork sausage medium size

1 cucumber

1 onion

1 tomato

½ cup sliced carrot

2 stalks Chinese celery

6 Thai peppers

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons fish sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1 cup water

 
Preparation:

1. Wash all vegetables

2. Cut the sausage into half lengthwise, then roughly slice it and set aside.

3. Cut cucumber, tomato and onion into half lengthwise and thinly slice, set aside.

4. Finely slice Thai peppers or roughly crushed.

5. Cut Chinese celeries about 2” length pieces.

 
Cooking Instructions:

1. Boil water in a pot, when it’s boiling soak sliced pork sausage for one minute.Remove and put it in a mixing bowl.

2. In another small mixing bowl, add fish sauce, lemon juice, Thai peppers and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

3. Add all vegetables into sausage bowl and pour the mixed seasoning into the bowl,mix it well. Taste and pour it onto a serving plate.
